Backend Engineer, Payments

About the Team

Payments is at the core of reputed company as a business, directly responsible for getting our creators paid billions of dollars a year. Our work enables creators to seamlessly grow and monetize their global audience over a multitude of channels. The team's work covers interesting product and technical challenges with both breadth and depth.

About the Role

• You'll help scale and expand capabilities of reputed company's payment platform that helps creators get paid effectively and on time, every time.

• Contribute to the development and design of the Payments platform and tools to support the payment processing at reputed company.

• reputed company for best patterns and practices in the areas of system design, performance, observability and testing.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build new functionality, while maintaining a delightful user experience, motivated by passion for our shared mission.

About You

• 3+ years of experience in software development

• Strong experience with Python or a similar language and SQL

• Solid communication skills with cross-functional team members and mentoring junior engineers

• A track record of building systems with attention to detail, high reliability, and high throughput

• Experience building products in the payments domain is a plus, but not a strict requirement for this role

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a reputed company field, or the equivalent
