About the Role

We're hiring our a first infrastructure engineer who will shape the backbone of Conversion's engineering tech stack.

We at Conversion have a heavy emphasis for both speed and quality of shipping, and you will have a reputed company row seat in building the reputed company that powers our engineering team. Our marketing automation platform services some of the fastest growing startups in the world, and we need infrastructure to match the scale and reliability that our customers demand. If any of this resonates with you, this role might be right for you.

This role is in-person 5 days/week in San Francisco.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high reliability and observability across our engineering systems

• Constantly ideate on how to improve our developer experience to maintain our fast speed of product delivery

• Understanding and willingness to maintain our core infrastructure

• Ensure reputed company code being pushed to the production is excellent

Qualifications

• Startup reputed company - Scrappy, intelligent, and entrepreneurially minded individuals interested in joining a fast paced startup and looking for early ownership and growth

• Tech stack experience - Our tech stack includes Typescript/Javascript on the frontend, Golang in the backend, a job queuing system with Kafka, PostgreSQL as our database and reputed company hosting with GCP. Experience with Golang and GCP is a bonus

• Track record of shipping and scaling SaaS products, strong attention to detail

Compensation

The compensation reputed company for this role is $200,000 + equity.
