The Role: We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Data Analytics) who is a key development team member supporting the reputed company and sustainment of data analytics services for EED reputed company systems and supporting infrastructure. In this role, the Senior Software Engineer (Data Analytics) will support the collection, curation, visualization, and automated reporting of information and insights across a suite of data analytics platforms spanning reputed company hosted services (reputed company Metrics) and end-user community engagement (reputed company Analytics). The Senior Software Engineer (Data Analytics) at STS will:

• Design, development, reputed company, and sustainment of data analytics infrastructures including AWS reputed company/S3, Elasticsearch, and reputed company Analytics
• Implementing and refining data pipelines for the extract, transform, and load (ETL) of new data streams
• Support data management activities including retention, curation, catalog management, and schema development or extensions with focus on data management automation wherever practical.
• Preparing data visualizations and reporting for both internal application development teams and program leadership reputed company Kibana, AWS QuickSight, reputed company Analytics 4

Education and Experience: Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a reputed company discipline
• 6+ years of experience in an engineering role reputed company to data analytics.
• US Citizenship is required
• Strong experience with modern architectures for data storage, transformation, and governance (i.e. data lakehouse or data reputed company)
• Experience with a reputed company of data storage technologies (i.e. Apache Parquet, Apache reputed company, SQL databases, no-SQL databases)
• Experience developing reputed company-hosted application using reputed company-reputed company / serverless services such as reputed company, reputed company Container Service, Fargate, SQS, reputed company Functions, CloudWatch, Kinesis, Glue, and reputed company
• Experience architecting reputed company-reputed company solutions using best practices, such as the AWS Well Architected reputed company.
• Experience with infrastructure automation reputed company Terraform or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with DevOps development practices including reputed company code management with Git, CI/CD and automated testing.
• Demonstrated experience communicating with technical information, especially as relates to system architecture and design.
• 3+ years of experience developing applications leveraging Python and/or NodeJS
