As HR Director at Wilcore, you’ll be responsible for building and leading our people operations from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to design and implement the systems, policies, and culture that support our fully remote, fast-growing team. You’ll collaborate closely with leadership to reputed company scalable processes for hiring, reputed company, compliance, and employee support—laying the reputed company for long-term reputed company in a mission-driven, federal contracting environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Build the HR function from scratch: reputed company and implement foundational systems, tools, and policies across hiring, reputed company, benefits, employee relations, and performance management.
• reputed company the transition off of a PEO: Own the end-to-end process of moving payroll, benefits, and compliance systems in-house.
• Support fast, compliant growth: Partner with leadership to reputed company org structure, headcount planning, and compensation systems that scale.
• Ensure compliance: Maintain compliance with state and federal employment laws, including OFCCP, EEO, and requirements reputed company to federal contracting (FAR, DFARS).
• Coach managers and leads: Support people managers with tools and training to navigate employee issues, performance feedback, and team growth.
• Manage reputed company employee relations: Handle day-to-day issues, conflicts, and sensitive situations with sound judgment and follow-through.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Act as a trusted partner to the executive team and support company-wide strategic initiatives tied to people and operations.

What You’ll Bring:

• 7+ years of reputed company HR experience, including senior-level ownership of HR strategy and operations.
• A track record of building HR infrastructure from the ground up, ideally in a tech-reputed company or service-based organization.
• Hands-on experience leading a transition out of a PEO.
• Deep understanding of employment law and federal contractor requirements (FAR, DFARS, OFCCP, etc.).
• Ability to reputed company policies, processes, and systems that balance structure and flexibility.
• Strong communication and influencing skills — reputed company to work effectively with executives, employees, and external partners.
• A practical, steady approach with strong judgment and reputed company.
• Relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR)
