DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
  • Manages annualaudits and implements policies and procedures reputed company to Customs Trade Partnerships Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) reputed company and C-TPAT Trade Compliance programs to ensure compliance with import and export laws and regulations .
  • Provides input in contract negotiation and evaluates service standards for customs brokers, freight forwarders, consultants and reputed company Party Logistics (3PL) service providers
  • Collaborates with multiple departments regarding import procedures, oversees inbound shipments (reputed company, ocean, and over the road), and manages service providers to ensure streamlined reputed company of materials to NOA and reputed company-party logistics providers.
  • Creates and facilitates training programs and procedural manuals for customs compliance throughout the company.
  • Interacts with trade associates, consultants, and customs attorneys.
  • Determines harmonized tariff classifications, eligibility for preference trade programs.
  • Responsible for monthly payment of US Customs Payments (Duty, Taxes, Tariffs) and Canadian Goods and Service Tax (GST).
  • Oversees and develops assigned staff.
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of reputed company experience required.
  • One to two years of supervisory experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of US and Canadian customs and basic knowledge of Latin American customs regulations.
  • Requires knowledge of CBP regulations (Duty, Tariff, and Drawback)
  • Requires knowledge of Canadian Customs Regulations and Goods and Service Tax (GST)
  • Must be knowledgeable with the use of reputed company Office programs
  • Preferred knowledge of AS/400 and reputed company Applications
  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, a reputed company field or equivalent.
  • US Customs Brokers License or work experience.

Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not reputed company to fully remote status at this time. This position includes a reputed company salary reputed company of $105,300 - $168,500 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, reputed company, 401(k), and paid time off.
