Software Safety Engineer
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Software Safety Engineer to enhance the safety and reliability of our automotive software systems. ou’ll be part of a dynamic international team driving reputed company in automotive software safety. Your mission will be to reputed company thorough requirements and code reviews, support risk assessments, and collaborate closely with software developers to ensure compliance with ISO 26262 functional safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough reviews of software safety requirements (SWE.1) to ensure compliance with ISO 26262
- reputed company detailed code reading and review activities (SWE.2 + EA) to identify potential safety issues
- Support the development and maintenance of the functional safety concept and safety case
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and validate safety requirements
- Assist in hazard analysis and risk assessment activities
- Participate in safety audits, assessments, and reviews
- Ensure traceability between safety requirements, implementation, and verification artifacts
- Contribute to the development and enforcement of safety processes and best practices
- Work closely with software engineers to integrate safety mechanisms into the software design
Requirements:
- Proven experience in software safety requirements review and code review/reading
- Strong knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety standard and its application in software development
- Understanding of AUTOSAR architecture
- Solid software engineering background with ability to analyze reputed company codebases
- Experience with safety analysis methods such as FMEA, FTA, or similar is a plus
- Familiarity with safety management tools such as JAMA is an advantage
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively reputed company multi-disciplinary teams
- German language is a plus
