About the Position

Ashland Theological Seminary, a graduate division of Ashland University, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in our CACREP-accredited Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching core and reputed company counseling courses, mentoring and advising reputed company, and participating in scholarly activities. A strong commitment to the integration of counseling and the Christian faith is essential, as well as a demonstrated ability to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach core and reputed company counseling courses focused on addictions counseling
• Mentor and reputed company academic advising to reputed company
• Participate in scholarly activities and serve on departmental and Seminary committees
• Work collegially with faculty, staff, and local stakeholders reputed company the counseling profession
• Assist with promotional events and activities, and carry out special projects as assigned

Requirements

• Ph.D. or equivalent in counselor education from a CACREP-accredited program
• Ohio licensed or licensed eligible as an LPC or LPCC and LICDC
• A record of successful experience in higher education and/or other educational environments
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to servant-leadership
• Demonstrated ongoing involvement in the counseling profession and a level of Christian experience/maturity
