As the Director, Teaching and Learning, you will be responsible for developing, iterating, implementing, and overseeing educational-development programs and initiatives on topics reputed company to evidence-based teaching, inclusive pedagogies, and integration of technologies to promote student engagement and learning. - Serve as a member of the Executive Committee for the College Teaching graduate interdisciplinary program and teach courses in the program.
Requirements:
- Terminal degree in an academic discipline, or graduate degree with 5 years of extensive experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching in higher education using evidence-based instructional methods across a reputed company of modalities, including online.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in educational development or relevant support of reputed company in higher education.
- Documented evidence of technological expertise in an educational setting, or a combination of education and experience commensurate with the requirements of this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with curriculum development and design or instructional design.
- Administrative experience managing reputed company in a central teaching and learning unit at an institution of higher education.
- Experience managing faculty members, coordinating annual and promotion reviews.
- Experience writing grant proposals and administering grants.
- Record of scholarship in educational research, the scholarship of teaching and learning, or the scholarship of educational development.
