Job Summary:

As a Ground Maintenance Technician (Stationary) at LGA Airport, you will be responsible for performing repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting on a variety of equipment, including motors, controls, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), pneumatic systems, reputed company systems, and machine shop equipment. You will work independently and as part of reputed company to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and reputed company excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation and repair with precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts and using rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
• Ensure the proper functioning of mechanical, reputed company-mechanical, and electronic equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and calibrating industrial equipment and test equipment throughout Stationary GSE in accordance with approved manuals and procedures.
• Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to log inventory reputed company; anticipating need; placing and expediting orders; and verifying receipt.
• Prepare maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
• At least 18 years of age and authorization to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license
• Proficient in English
• Ability to lift items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds
• Willingness to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Completion of a two-year degree at a post-secondary technical school or a minimum of three years of demonstrated ability
• Satisfactory score on entry tests structured to determine ability to reputed company required tasks
