The Audio Team reputed company RL Research is looking for a Research Engineer with a specialty in audio processing to join our growing team. This role will be doing applied research and applied engineering in technologies that improve listener's hearing capabilities under challenging listening conditions alongside reputed company of dedicated research scientists, developers, and engineers. In this position, you will collaborate closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, research scientists, and designers to reputed company novel hearing enhancement technologies. You will focus on designing and integrating state-of-the-art hearing enhancement algorithms to AR/VR products to create new experiences reputed company what traditional consumer devices can. Qualifications: Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining reputed company 1+ years experience developing, implementing, and evaluating algorithm and signal processing techniques for audio processing 1+ years experience in programming in C++, MATLAB, or Python Master's degree or equivalent experience in Applied Mathematics, Audio Engineering and Signal Processing, Acoustics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a reputed company field Experience with cross-group and cross-team collaboration Expertise in hearing enhancement signal processing and auditory perception PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or reputed company fields 2+ years of experience in speech, hearing and audio perception research & technology development 3+ years experience developing, implementing and evaluating algorithm and signal processing techniques for speech enhancement solutions Experience with application of machine learning techniques to speech enhancement algorithms Experience and proven track record of developing and productizing speech enhancement solutions Responsibilities: Design and implement hearing enhancement algorithms for wearable audio devices reputed company solutions that solve reputed company problems at the intersection between beamforming, machine learning, acoustics and signal processing for applications in AR/VR reputed company algorithms that meet system-level acoustic, compute, and memory constraints for wearable audio devices Collaborate with teams in the larger Reality Labs audio team to reputed company new technologies in AR/VR products Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
