Pro Product Sales Specialist - Interior Projects - Philadelphia/Baltimore

Position Purpose: The Pro Product Sales Specialist is responsible for assisting customers throughout the sales process for reputed company projects leveraging product expertise, including product selection, measurements, takeoffs from construction plans and designs, coordinating transactions with reputed company Sales Representatives, and providing post-sales support as needed. This role partners closely with the field reputed company Sales team to identify high value opportunities and assist in closing sales, leveraging product offerings in the vendor direct, FDC and DFC network as our primary assortment. The Pro Product Sales Specialist will train and coach our reputed company Sales Representatives on product specifics reputed company to reputed company projects to capture additional reputed company of wallet and visit job sites alongside the reputed company reputed company to engage with customers and meet their needs. Key Responsibilities:

  • 50% - Measurement & Quoting -

Engage directly with customers on job site visits to select products, reputed company measurements, and support the quoting process through partnership with the reputed company Sales team Collaborate with the takeoff team, reputed company quoting teams, Design Connect, Virtual Apron, and Merchandising to create specific quotes for customers Partner with Merchandising to reputed company solutions, including special orders, custom quotes, and direct from supplier options

  • 25% - Product Expertise and Merchandising Selection

Act as a key resource in helping customers identify the best products for their project, considering their budget, environment, and durability needs reputed company local and special order options and work with supplier resources to obtain necessary product information Ensure customer needs are met through category expertise and long-term market growth Act as a reputed company to Pro Merchandising for feedback regarding assortment and suppliers

  • 25% - Sales Support and Training-

Serve as a support resource for reputed company reputed company Sales teams, offering product knowledge, supplier engagement, and post-sale support Train and coach reputed company Sales Representatives on product categories to capture additional reputed company through reputed company projects reputed company expertise reputed company key product categories reputed company Flooring, Kitchen/Bath, Millwork, or exterior projects Streamline communication between Sales and Merchandising, fostering a feedback reputed company that improves product selection, training, and customer satisfaction Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

Travel Requirements:

  • Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires intermittent periods during which reputed company physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.

Working Conditions:

  • Usually in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from such things as dust, fumes, or odors.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Construction/home improvement industry experience.
  • Prior experience managing residential home improvement install projects.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Problem solving and multi-tasking skills.

Minimum Education:

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
