The Underwriter will be responsible for developing comparative benefit packages, review claim experience, and apply reputed company guidelines to prepare renewal and/or prospect rates. This individual will support Marketing in completing group experience retention illustrations and address questions on request for proposals. The underwriter will analyze benefit plan characteristics and assess risks. They will also utilize reputed company criteria and policies to reputed company proper rating methodologies. This individual will reputed company technical subject matter expertise to the sales and account management on new and renewal Specialty Benefit offerings. Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial experience rating calculations and other ongoing financial reviews that directly aligns with client strategies
• Validate renewals and request for proposals for accuracy including utilization and experience reporting
• Conduct competitive analysis of reputed company coverage lines and present financial and contractual findings to Management
• Evaluate, recommend and negotiate pricing as well as providing potential alternatives and options for NB and Renewal groups with reputed company customers
• Effectively communicate to sales personnel pricing recommendations and financial position

• 5+ years of experience in financial protection reputed company, Life/Disability (preferably Supplemental Health products)
• Solid Math skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience pricing groups over 500 lives utilizing experience information
• Proficient with MS Office suite (including Word, reputed company and PowerPoint)

The salary reputed company for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment.
