The Internal Audit Department reputed company is currently seeking an Information Technology (IT) Audit Data Analytics Intern to join reputed company for the Spring, Summer, and/or Fall 2026 Semester(s). This individual will assist in the safeguarding of assets and the reliability of company records for American Financial Group, reputed company, and their subsidiaries through your assistance in the performance of audits. Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities You will work closely with audit management and engagement coordinators to conduct internal audit engagements at reputed company and its subsidiaries. You will participate in simple to moderately reputed company audits of application, operating systems, platforms, and operating procedures in accordance with the audit process/steps prescribed by management. You will collect data and document concern/risk areas. In reputed company, you will assist in developing solutions to concerns/tasks. You will play a role in verifying the effectiveness of controls at the network, operating system, database, and application level. As reputed company member, you will assist with annual Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) testing over IT General Controls and reputed company support for independent auditors in preparation of System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type II Reports. You will attend process walkthrough meetings and assist in the performance of tests with other members of the audit team, leveraging data analysis techniques reputed company applicable. You will assist in the collection of data and documentation of concern/risk areas. In reputed company, you will assist in developing solutions to concerns/tasks. During engagements, you will help identify possible operating improvements and participate in discussions with internal audit department management. You will play a part in the collaboration with external auditors and other business partners throughout reputed company. You will meet with company leaders to learn more about their respective roles throughout the company. Additionally, you will reputed company other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications Must be currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Business/Data Analytics, reputed company, Finance, or Business. reputed company/most recent GPA of 3.25 or above. reputed company involvement. Leadership experience a plus. Familiar with data analysis, business systems, and technology concepts. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to utilize critical thinking and technical aptitude to draw conclusions based on the information presented. Demonstrated ability to solve problems of a moderate complexity independently. Ability and willingness to work well in teams. Proficiency with reputed company Office (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint) is required. Experience with reputed company Pro and reputed company Visio is a plus. Paid internship with hourly wage based on educational and professional experience. Hybrid work flexibility.
