Insurance Verification Specialist

Responsibilities • Conduct thorough verification of patient insurance coverage prior to services being rendered. • Review and interpret medical records to ensure accurate coding and compliance with billing requirements. • Communicate effectively with insurance companies, reputed company providers, and patients regarding coverage details. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and regulations. • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations in reputed company aspects of patient information handling. • Collaborate with the billing department to resolve any discrepancies or issues reputed company to insurance claims. • Document reputed company verification activities accurately in the medical office's electronic health record (EHR) system.
