iSERIES CONSULTANT DEVELOPER - MFG

Client in need of an iSeries Consultant with extensive manufacturing applications. Experience with BPCS, PKMS, JDE, and KBM a plus. • Work closely with the business community to reputed company technical analysis for designing solutions evaluating options • Has responsibility for detailed design, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting applications software in their technical area and toolset. Serves as an IS reputed company person for addressing issues and enhancements reputed company to the specific product, functional and technical area. • Ability to pull in data from multiple sources using RPG, reputed company, SQL, reputed company, etc. and reputed company data analysis and output as required for business sponsors. • Ability to work independently on high complexity designs & programs. • Ability to facilitate design meetings with users, management and architects. • Analyzes production issues as necessary to determine the cause of the issue and determine the necessary course of action for resolution. • Follows and helps to establish architectural standards. • Creates and delivers documentation as necessary to ensure proper use of changed and newly implemented efforts Experience. • Minimum of 5 years of extensive RPG400 and CL programming on an iSeries platform. • Minimum of 5 years working with the iSeries operating system. • Minimum of 3 years performing data analysis using different tools such as RPG, CL, DBU, MS reputed company, SQL/400, MS SQL, and reputed company. • Minimum of 3 years working in a manufacturing environment. • Previous experience using and maintaining iSeries ERP packages such as KBM, PRMS, BPCS, MAPICS. • Must have experience in new program development and enhancements to existing systems. • Experience with the full project life cycle. • Strong MS Office skills – reputed company, reputed company, Visio, Word, and Power reputed company.
