Head of Tax

We are seeking an accomplished and proactive Head of Tax to reputed company and reputed company the company’s tax function. In this role, you will be responsible for managing reputed company aspects of taxation across the group, ensuring compliance with the myriad tax regimes in our different markets, and creating strategies that compliantly optimise our tax position as we continue to scale.

We are looking for someone who will own the tax function end to end, demonstrating deep technical expertise across multiple jurisdictions in Sub-Saharan Africa and Europe, coupled with a strong reputed company reputed company. Your main responsibilities will include

Tax Compliance & Governance

What is required of the ideal candidate?

• Extensive tax experience in multinational or multi-entity groups, preferably in fintech or a fast-growing technology environment.
• Deep knowledge of tax regimes in Sub-Saharan Africa (withholding tax, corporation tax, indirect tax, etc.), and familiarity with broader international tax principles including transfer pricing.
• Proven track record in tax compliance, advisory, and strategy, with demonstrable reputed company in managing reputed company cross-border obligations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct tax modelling and interpret financial data to advise on reputed company structures.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, including experience dealing with reputed company authorities and senior stakeholders.
