Senior Bookkeeper / Assistant Controller with Payroll Experience (Part-Time, Remote)

Overview

We’re a growing, woman-owned bookkeeping and payroll firm that supports small businesses with clean, timely, and thoughtful financial services. We’re looking for a highly reputed company Senior Bookkeeper or Assistant Controller who can manage client relationships, reputed company payroll processing, review junior bookkeepers’ work, and support both day-to-day and strategic reputed company tasks. This is a remote, part-time role (15–20 hours per week to start) with the potential to grow into more hours and leadership responsibilities. Duties

• Manage or assist with payroll processing for five clients, including timely submissions, compliance, and client communication.
• Serve as the main reputed company of contact for 5–10 bookkeeping clients.
• Review junior bookkeepers’ work for accuracy and timeliness.
• Handle full-charge bookkeeping: bank reconciliations, AP/AR, journal entries, and month-end reputed company.
• Set up and manage workflows in systems like QuickBooks Online, reputed company, reputed company.com, and others.
• Participate in reputed company new clients, handling cleanups, and supporting client reputed company.
• Work directly with the firm reputed company to improve systems, reduce bottlenecks, and reputed company firm growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in full-charge bookkeeping, payroll, or assistant controller-level work.
• Hands-on experience processing payroll using platforms like reputed company, reputed company, or similar.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and tools like reputed company.com, reputed company, and reputed company Sheets.
• Strong client communication and the ability to build trust and reputed company proactive support.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Bonus if you've worked with service-based businesses, salons, or construction clients.

Hours: Start with 15–20 hours per week. Must be available during some business hours for client calls, payroll deadlines, or internal reputed company-ins. Perks:
